Nikon F Rewind Knobs (Parts 20FB1-551 & 552)
Rewind Knob Type 1
The knob (part 551) has a diameter of 17.3 mm and the tip of the folding crank (part 552) is non-rotating. The rewind leaf spring (part 554) has a shiny chrome finish. The knob is fixed by a set screw (part 573) on the rewind fork (part 2425). The flange of the knob is quite thin. This is compensated by a thick adjusting spacer (part 2426).

Rewind Knob Type 2
The knob (part 551) has a diameter of 18.3 mm and the tip (part 552A) of the folding crank (part 552) is rotating. The rewind leaf spring (part 554) has a black finish. The knob is fixed by a set screw (part 573) on the axle of the rewind fork (part 2425). The flange of the knob is quite thin. This is compensated by a thick adjusting spacer (part 2426).

Rewind Knob Type 3
The knob (part 551) has a diameter of 18.3 mm and the tip (part 552A) of the folding crank (part 552) is rotating. The rewind leaf spring (part 554) has a black finish. The knob is no longer fixed by a set screw on the axle of the rewind fork. The flange of the knob is thicker. This is compensated by a thinner adjusting spacer (part 2426).
